Lupines are one of the world’s favorite wildflowers. Sturdy and majestic, lupines are not only noted for their beauty, but also for their ability to thrive in challenging environments. This image of wild lupines bending in the wind, was captured on Fort Hill in Eastham, Ma. on Cape Cod. The Fort Hill Rural Historic District is a scenic historic district that has been part of the National Seashore since 1961.

Lupines are by far among the most beautiful flowers, as your lovely artwork demonstrates here. I once set my camera on my tripod getting ready to take some shots of lupines on Kebler Pass in Gunnison National Forest here in the Colorado Rockies. Out of the blue a deer walked right into my shot. I posted it on FAA, if you want to check it out.
